What is Time MachineReady?

Time MachineReady is a function that allows you to record a programme you are currently watching or want to watch.
Instant recording
Immediately records a programme you are watching.
Scheduled recording
Selects a programme you want or sets the time to record.
Play
Plays back the recordings.
[This feature is available in certain countries only.] You can record digital programmes transmitted through an RF cable.
Time MachineReady feature is supported by DTV signals only.
DTV programmes that are broadcast in AVS / AVS+ codec does not support the Time MachineReady function.
Recording of content containing copyright information is not supported.
Videos recorded by other TV models cannot be played.
Due to DRM, the content protection technology used, the recorded video cannot be played on PCs or other TV models. The video also cannot be played if the TV's video circuit has been replaced.
All broadcasts are protected by copyright so you may need to receive permission from the appropriate copyright owners before reproducing or playing back these broadcasts. If a user records audio or video using this device, the recordings must be for personal use only. Selling, transferring or renting recordings protected by copyright is prohibited.
Connecting a USB HDD Device for Time MachineReady

You must connect a USB HDD storage device to use the Time MachineReady function.
  1. Prepare a USB HDD storage device.
  2. Connect the USB HDD device to the USB port on the side or back of the TV.
The Time MachineReady feature requires a USB storage device which contains a hard disk drive (HDD).
It is recommended that you use a USB HDD device with a capacity of between 40 GB and 2 TB.
Select the connected USB HDD from HOMEHOME Inputs and select the Eject button to disconnect the USB HDD storage device.
If a USB HDD device is faulty, the Time MachineReady function may not operate normally.
If you use a USB extension cable, the USB device may not be recognised or may not work properly.
Recordings saved on a USB HDD device can get damaged. The manufacturer is not liable for any damaged recordings as it is the user's responsibility to manage their content.
