To start a video call (Skype )
You can make a video call to a Skype contact connected using the Smart TV camera.
- Connect the TV to a network.
- Prepare the Smart TV camera for use. If your Smart TV is not equipped with a camera, install an LG video call camera (Sold separately). (For more information, please refer to the installation manual or owner's manual of the camera.)
- Go to
PREMIUM Skype.
- First, sign in to your
Skype account.
You can log in with your existing Skype account or a Skype account that is merged with your Microsoft account.
To create a newSkype account that is already merged with your Microsoft account, please refer to their websites for further information.

To use Skype
When you sign in to Skype , you can use the call service of Skype .

To make a call
To make a video call
In Contacts, select a contact you want to call and select
(Video Call).

To make a voice call
In Contacts, select a contact you want to call and select
(Voice Call).

You can perform call-related functions such as adding a contact during a call.
To answer a call
When a call is received while watching TV, a message appears at the bottom right of the screen.
You can answer a video call / voice call or Decline it.
You cannot use input devices such as keyboard while using Skype .
Video calls cannot be made to a Mac with Skype 2.8 or earlier.
