Set the Speak to TV
While the TV is off, say Power on Word to turn on the TV. Speak To TV settings are as follows:
  1. Check the language in HomeSettingsGeneralLanguageVoice Recognition Language.
  2. Check that HomeSettingsGeneralVoice & Gesture CommandsSpeak To TV is set to On.
  3. HomeSettingsNetwork (This mode can only be used when you are connected to a network.)
  4. HomeSettingsGeneralVoice & Gesture CommandsWake-up word
  5. HomeSettingsGeneralLocationLG Services Country
Below is the list of power on commands. The Voice Recognition Language and LG Services Country should be set correctly.

Using Speak to TV
By using the TV's built-in microphone, you can control the TV without having to use the remote control.

Speak To TV is activated 60 seconds after the TV is switched on. Face the TV and say the word that will activate voice recognition to open the voice recognition information display window as shown below.

Say the command to have it entered as shown below.

You can say the commands one after another.
When changing the channel, you will be switched to the main channel.
The mode will automatically be deactivated if no command is spoken in 8 seconds.
Say "Cancel" if you want to deactivate Voice Recognition mode.

Check the following if voice commands are not being recognized properly.
The background noise is too loud.
A noise level of 40dB or below is recommended (Quiet office: 50 dB/Conversation: 60 dB/Phone ringtone: 70 dB).
The recommended distance that you sit from the TV is 3~4 meters.
You did not use standard dialect or your pronunciation is unclear.
The TV volume is too high. (15 or below is recommended.)
The flutter echo is too loud. (RT60 0.5 or below is recommended.)
The TV is not connected to a network.
Your voice is too low.
You speak too fast or too slow.
You said the commands while moving, or more than one person said parts of the command.
Your TV can be turned on if it detects a noise similar to the command used for turning the TV on.
This feature is only available in certain countries.
