  • Filter Status Notification appears based on the maximum usage time, taking into account the operating hours of the product. Replacement frequency is determined by the operating hours and the environment.

  • Once you have replaced the filter, reset the Filter Status Notification.

    • The Filter Status Notification can be reset through the additional Filter Status Notification reset function.

  • When the Filter Status Notification is displayed in red, a 0% icon is also displayed.

  • You can check the remaining capacity of the filter through the LG ThinQ app.

Replacing the Filters

  • Separate the cover from the product.

    • To avoid polluting the surroundings when replacing the filter, place a newspaper on the floor before you remove the filter.

  • Separate the pre-filter by holding the handle at the top the pre-filter and pulling it forward.

  • Take out a used filter by holding the its handle and then install a new filter.

    • Make sure that the side with the filter handle(a) is facing upward.

  • Insert the pre-filter hooks into the fixing grooves at the bottom of the product and insert the pre-filter into the fixing grooves at the top.

  • Insert the fixtures into the fixing grooves at the bottom of the product and close the cover.

  • Once you have replaced the filter, disable the Filter Status Notification.

    • When the Filter Status Notification is reset, the color of the Filter Status Notification changes to green.

Reset the Filter Status Notification

Press and hold the Mode and Speed buttons on the control panel or the Sound On/Off button on the remote controller for 3 seconds.

  • Filter Status Notification on the status panel is reset and the time for Filter Status Notification is initialized.
