LG Sync

LG Sync is a software that allows you to check the notifications, phone calls, SMS, SNS messages and emails of your smartphone in your PC.

Tip:

LG Sync can only be used in an Android phone.

Your PC needs to be connected to the Internet, and you should have a Google account.

You need to install the LG Sync app in your smartphone and log on to the same Google account as that of your PC.

You can search for the LG Sync app in [Play Store] by typing [LG Sync] to install it.

Before removing the LG Sync app from your PC, select [Settings] > [My Info] > [Initialize] menus to delete all your personal information.

If you are using the [Auto Login] function in a shared PC, be sure to log out from the PC after using it.

The service may be stopped due to the circumstances of LG Electronics.

LG Sync Logging in

  1. Select the [] button > [LG Software] to run [LG Sync].

  2. Press the [Sign in with Google] button to log on to [LG Sync].

  3. Follow the instructions on the screen to run LG Sync.

Display of notification messages

When your smartphone receives notifications, phone calls, SMS, SNS messages or emails, the following messages appear on your PC.

Tip:

In the case of notifications received to smartphones with Android 7.0 or above, only basic ones appear on the PC.

If notifications on the smartphone do not appear on the PC, change the smartphone settings as follows:

  • Grant notification access permission by selecting [Settings] > [Setting notification access permission] > [LG Sync].

  • The Setting menus may vary depending on smartphone models.

LG Sync Taking a tour (PC)

  1. Settings Menu: Allows you to change the settings of LG Sync.

  2. Notification: Shows the list of notifications such as phone calls, text messages (SMS), SNS messages and emails.

  3. Share: Allows you to share texts, files, links, etc. with devices connected with LG Sync.

  4. SMS: Allows you to send and receive text messages in your PC.

  5. Find my phone: Finds smartphones connected with LG Sync.

  6. Show updates: When there is a new notification, the corresponding tab shows updates [].

Tip:

This version supports SMS (short message service) only, not MMS (multimedia/long message service).

Press the button at the top-left corner of the screen to display the Main menu.

Tip:

Some or the following functions may be restricted in Android 7.0 or below or depending on versions.

  • Only a hyperlink of a file name is displayed when sharing a file.

  • A button may not appear or a reply-to-Twitter notification message button may not work when acknowledging notifications from some apps.

  1. Share: Allows you to share texts, files, links, etc. with your PC.

    Tip:

    Files sent to your smartphone are saved in the “Internal storage/Download” folder and can be viewed using a file manager app, etc.

  2. Push: Allows you to set push notifications.

  3. SMS: Allows you to set whether to use SMS message notification and reply.

  4. Phone: Allows you to set whether to use phone notification.

  5. Settings: Allows you to change account, data and notification settings.

LG Sync update

Some function may not work properly if the version of an app installed on your PC or mobile device is out of date. You can update your PC and mobile (Android) device via LG Update Center or the link shown as below.

Please initialize your app after it's updated.

  • PC app: Update the PC app through LG Update Center
