Basic Options

Once you have selected the cycle and other settings, press this button to delay the start of the wash cycle.Each press of the button increases the delay time by 1 hour, for up to 19 hours.Once the desired delay time is set, press the Start/Pause button to start the delay time.If the Start/Pause button is not pressed to begin the delay time, the washer automatically turns off after a certain time and all cycle settings are lost.Press the Faucet button to turn the cold water on in the tub, so you can spot clean items before putting them in the tub to wash.To stop the water, close the lid or press the Faucet button again.After the Faucet option is turned off, the water is automatically drained.The function ends when the water reaches the maximum fill level or after 5 minutes.If the door is not opened for 4 minutes after starting, the Faucet function will stop.After using the Faucet function, press the Power button if you want to use the water in the tub.When using Faucet function, it is a possible that the cycle time displayed will increase compared to the actual load due to the increased water level.If the hot and cold water hoses are connected in reverse, hot water comes out. Hot water is not suitable for spot cleaning and can cause serious injury. Make sure the cold water inlet hose is attached to the cold water inlet.Adding Extra WaterFor better wash performance, press the Deep Fill button once before starting a cycle to add extra water to the cycle.Adding the Maximum Amount of WaterTo add the maximum amount of water to a cycle, press the Deep Fill button twice before starting the cycle.Using the Deep Fill or Max. option increases the cycle time because of the added fill time required.To add water during a cycle, pause the cycle before selecting Deep Fill or Max. has no effect.If you add the Deep Fill or Max. option to the cycle, it automatically changes to the Deep Wash cycle before starting. You cannot select the Deep Fill or Max. option for the Normal cycle.If the Deep Fill option is selected through the LG ThinQ app, it operates as Max..

Press the Settings button.Turn the knob to select the desired option and press the 8 (OK) button.Turn the knob to select On or Off and press the 8 (OK) button to save the option.To return to the previous screen, press the Settings button again or press the N (Previous) button.If no action is taken for several minutes after pressing the Settings button, the display reverts to the previous screen.Adding this option reduces the cycle time while still providing similar wash performance to the same cycle without TurboWashTM.Use this option to save energy by using cooler water while increasing the wash and rinse times to maintain wash performance.Wash time will increase up to several minutes with this option.For best wash results, only wash small loads (less than 8 lb) with this option.This option provides a 30-minute presoak prior to the start of the selected cycle. Use this option to presoak garments to help remove difficult spots or stains on fabrics. At the end of the presoak time, the selected cycle will begin with the same water used for soaking.This option adds an extra rinse to the selected cycle. Use this option to help ensure the removal of detergent or bleach residue from fabrics.Pressing the Extra Rinse button twice will add two additional rinses to the cycle.If a liquid fabric softener is used, it is always dispensed in the final rinse.You cannot select this option with the Spin Only option and the Tub Clean cycle.Selecting the Extra Rinse option with the Normal cycle automatically changes the cycle to the Deep Wash cycle.

This function can prevent children from changing cycles or operating this washer.The function does not lock the door.Once this function is set, all buttons are locked except the Power button.When the controls are locked, the Control Lock indicator lights up and the wash cycle is shown on the display.Turning off the power will not reset this function. You must deactivate this function before you can access any other options and functions.Edit the list of wash cycles as desired.Turn the knob to select the desired cycle and press the 8 (OK) button to include or exclude cycles.If a cycle is added, a check mark is displayed by that cycle.If a cycle is deleted, the check mark is not displayed by that cycle.Press the N (Previous) button to save the cycle list.The Normal, Tub Clean, Waterproof and Deep Wash cycles cannot be deleted.The order of cycles in the list can be changed. When Wi-Fi is turned on, the Wi-Fi icon appears in the display.When activated, this feature organizes the cycle list and options automatically based on your usage patterns.On is the default setting.Selecting Off retains the current list order.Switches the softener reservoir to a secondary detergent reservoir for those who don't use liquid fabric softener.Before using the softener reservoir to dispense detergent, empty and clean the reservoir and run the ezDispenseTMNozzle Clean function, or the reservoir may fail to dispense properly.Clean the detergent dispenser after the detergent is used up to prevent any detergent residue from hardening.Use this function to adjust the default detergent / softener dispense amount in 0.1 oz (3 ml) increments, within a range of 0.5 oz (1.5 ml) to 4.0 oz (120 ml).The default settings are configured to dispense 1.5 oz (45 ml) of detergent and 1.0 oz (30 ml) of softener for 11 lb (5 kg) of normally soiled laundry.Use this function to periodically clean the ezDispense reservoirs or before changing the softener reservoir to a detergent reservoir.This function cleans residual detergent or softener in the hose connected to the ezDispense(when changing the type of detergent or softener).Before using the function, remove the ezDispense reservoir, clean it, fill it with water and reassemble it in the dispenser drawer.The volume of the notification sounds and button sounds can be set from quiet to very loud.Use this to change the language of the appliance.Use this to help troubleshoot errors or malfunctions.See the Smart Diagnosis section for more details.Select this to delete all the stored data and initialize settings.
