You can update your appliance with new features through the LG ThinQ app.
When new features are available, an update notification will appear on the display when you turn on the appliance.
After the update, the appliance function may change from what is indicated in the owner's manual.
Press the 8 (OK) button on the update notification screen of the appliance display. Then, an update notification will be sent to your smartphone.
Press the update notification on your smartphone to enter Feature Updates screen in the LG ThinQ app.
Select the new features and press the Update button in the Feature Updates screen.
The progress of the update can be checked on the appliance’s display.
Do not unplug the appliance during the update. It may cause product errors.
When the update is complete, press the 8 (OK) button on the appliance’s display to experience the new features.
