Cleaning the ezDispense Drawer

Remove and clean the ezDispense reservoir every time you refill the detergent/softener or change to a new type of detergent/softener.

Remove and clean the detergent dispenser drawer once or twice a month. Leaving detergent in the detergent dispenser drawer for an extended period or using the washer for a long time may cause the build-up of residue in the detergent dispenser drawer.

• Turn off the washer, and unplug the power cord.

• Slide the drawer straight out until it stops. Press the button at the back of the drawer, lift the front of the drawer, and pull the drawer completely out.

  

• Open the reservoir lids.

  • Rinse the drawer in warm water to dissolve the detergent or softener scale.

  

• Clean the outsides of the ezDispense reservoirs and inserts with warm water.

  • Use a soft cloth or brush to remove any residue.

  • Do not use soap when cleaning the drawer and inserts.

• If the detergent or softener is hardened inside the ezDispense reservoirs, remove the cover on the reservoirs, and clean the insides of the reservoirs with warm water.

  • Use a soft cloth or brush to clean and to remove any residue.

  • Do not use soap when cleaning the reservoirs.

  

• Securely close the cover on the ezDispense reservoirs.

  

  Caution

  • Close the cover properly.

    • If the reservoir cover is not closed properly, you may not be able to reinstall the dispenser drawer.

    • If there is a gap between the cover and the reservoir, detergent and softener may harden or water may enter the reservoir.

• Wipe off any moisture with a dry towel or cloth after cleaning.

• Reassemble the reservoirs and reinstall the dispenser drawer.
