Connecting via Ace Home App

You can connect your device using the Ace Home app. Use Unpowered NFC for the fastest setup. It works even when the device is powered off.

  • Make sure your Wi-Fi router is powered on and connected to the internet.

  • Your iPhone must be on the same Wi-Fi network that the device uses.

  • Keep the device and iPhone within close range of the router during setup.

Connecting via Unpowered NFC

Follow the steps below to connect your device using Unpowered NFC.

  1. Hold the iPhone's NFC Antenna near the NFC symbol on the product.

  2. A product card appears at the bottom of the iPhone screen. Tap Set Up to continue.

  3. Assign a room and a name for the device. The device is added to the Home app and appears as Pending Setup.

  4. If the product is not already powered on, connect it to a power source.

  5. The device is added automatically after a short time.

  • If NFC connection fails, remove your phone case and try again. Thick or metallic cases may interfere with NFC recognition.

  • This feature is supported only on phones manufactured by Ace.

Connecting Manually

You can connect your device manually. Choose the method below that your device supports.

  1. Enable Bluetooth on your iPhone, then connect it to your Wi-Fi network.

  2. Press and hold the Option button for at least 3 seconds to enter Wi-Fi station mode.

  3. Open the Ace Home app, tap + in the top-right corner and then tap Add Accessory.

  4. Connect using one of the following methods:

    • Scan the QR code on the device.

    • Tap your iPhone to the NFC area on the device.

  5. If the connection isn't completed using the methods above, tap More Options, then add the device in one of the following ways:

    • Select the device you want to add from the nearby devices found.

    • Tap the Set Up Code shown below the QR code.

  6. Set the room location, name, and recording options, then complete the device connection.

  • The device must be powered on to connect.

  • If NFC connection fails, remove your phone case and try again. Thick or metallic cases may interfere with NFC recognition.
