Ace Home Application Features

Communicate with the device from a smartphone using the convenient smart features.

  • Pairing

    Add your device to the app so you can control and monitor it from your phone.

  • Room

    Select the Room where you installed the device. You can choose the room when you add the device and change it later in the device settings.

  • Name the Camera

    Give the device a recognizable name so you can easily find and manage it in the app. You can name the device during onboarding and change it later in the device settings.

  • HKSV Setup

    HomeKit Secure Video is an Apple feature that encrypts and stores security camera footage in iCloud with local smart analysis.

  • Accessories

    Displays a list of accessories included with the product.

  • Add to Home View

    Select whether to show the product tile in the Home view.

  • Show as Single Tile or Show as Separate Tiles

    Allows you to choose whether to display multiple accessories as a single tile or as separate tiles in the Home view.

  • Live View

    You can watch live video in up to 2K quality. The quality is automatically adjusted based on your network condition.

    All recordings are saved in 2K.

  • Recorded clip

    When an event is detected during streaming, an event clip bar appears on the timeline. Scrub the timeline to find and play it.

  • Video Screen Features

    The following features are available on the video screen.

    • Connected Camera List

      You can see the list of connected cameras to switch to another camera's live view.

    • Status

      Displays the current status of your device.

    • Speaker Control Icon

      Turns on or off the audio from the camera's Microphone in the app.

    • PIP (Picture in Picture)

      Shrinks the live video into a small window so you can keep watching while using other apps.

    • Camera Settings

      Takes you to the camera settings screen.

    • Nearby Accessories Icon

      Allows you to control nearby accessories added to the Home. Includes camera lighting with on or off and brightness control.

    • Microphone Control Icon

      Enables two-way communication.

    • Export Video Clip

      You can download event clips to your phone's gallery.

  • Two-Way Talk

    Listen to sounds and speak to people near the device while watching live video.

  • Light Duration

    You can control how long the Floodlight stays on when motion is detected.

  • Night Vision Light

    Turn the Night Vision Light on or off.

  • Night Vision Mode

    Night vision lets the device record clearly in low light or darkness.

    • Auto (default)

      Your device automatically switches between color and black-and-white video based on the ambient light level.

    • Color

      Your device always records in color.

    • Black and White

      Your device always records in black and white using Infrared Light .

    Night vision settings apply to both streaming and stored event clips.

  • Camera Status Light

    Turn the Indicator Light on or off (on by default).

  • Add Automation

    Allows users to create automation based on camera motion detection.

    • Available only when a Home Hub is connected.

    • When using AI features, ambient sounds and voices may be recorded.

  • Status and Notifications

    Configure which notifications you receive from the camera and whether they appear in Home summaries. Additional options are available when a Home Hub or doorbell is connected.

  • Recording Options

    Configure recording settings based on whether you're home or away.

  • Face Recognition

    The camera recognizes family and friends by matching faces with your photo library, then sends you an alert with their names.

  • Record Camera Audio for Clips

    Enable or disable audio recording in event clips.

  • Activity Zones

    Set zones so the device detects activity only in the areas you choose.

  • AI Detection

    The device uses on-device AI to detect motion and save event clips.

  • Camera Speaker Volume

    Adjust the sound level of the device Speaker.

  • Privacy Zones

    Set the areas you want to keep private on the camera view.

    Allows users to download logs to the iPhone.

  • FW Updates

    • FW Update Status

      Check the current firmware version and update status.

    • FW Update Release Notes

      View the details of changes included in the latest firmware update.

  • Image Settings

    • Timestamp

      Show date and time on video.

    • Invert Image

      If the live video appears upside down, flip the view both vertically and horizontally.

    • Dewarped View

      Corrects lens distortion for a more natural and realistic view.
