Before cleaning or performing maintenance, disconnect the power supply and wait until the fan stops.
Check the air filter at least twice a month to see if cleaning is necessary. Trapped particles in the filter can build up and block the airflow, reducing cooling capacity and causing an accumulation of frost on the evaporator.
Emptying the Water Collection Tank
Condensed water is collected in the water collection tank. For smooth use, please empty the tank periodically.If the water collection tank is full, FL appears on the display and the air conditioner turns off until the tank is emptied.When not using the air conditioner for a long period of time, empty the water collection tank before storing.Turn off the air conditioner, and unplug the power cord.Place a pan under the drain hose. Up to 2 pints of water will be discharged. Remove the drain cap cover first, and then remove the drain cap.Drain any remaining water.Reinstall the drain cap and the drain cap cover securely.
Cleaning the Air Filter
Clean the air filter once every 2 weeks, or more if needed. Remove the air filter cover.Grab the handle of the air filter and pull it forward to remove it.Clean the air filter with a vacuum cleaner or wash it with lukewarm water and a mild detergent.Dry the filter in the shade.Insert the air filter into the holder.Align the hooks of the air filter cover with the slots and close it completely.
Cleaning the Air Conditioner
Wipe the case with a slightly damp cloth, then wipe dry with a soft cloth or towel.
