Cleaning the Air Filter
Clean the air filters once every 2 weeks, or more, if necessary.
The air filter can be broken if it is bent.
When the air filter is not assembled correctly, dust and other substances can enter the indoor unit.
Type 1
The top filter on the indoor unit is easier to assemble when looking at the unit from the top.
Turn off the power to the appliance.
Holding the knobs of the air filter, lift it up slightly.
Remove it from the indoor unit.
Clean the filter with a vacuum cleaner or with lukewarm water and a mild detergent.
Dry the filter in the shade.
Insert the tabs on the air filter into the front cover.
Push the hooks down to assemble the air filter.
Check the side of the front cover for correct assembly of the air filter.
Type 2
Turn off the power to the appliance.
Open the front cover.
Lift up both sides of the cover slightly.
Holding the knobs of the air filters, pull them down slightly and remove them from the indoor unit.
Clean the filters with a vacuum cleaner or with lukewarm water and a mild detergent.
Dry the filters in the shade.
Insert the tabs on the air filters into the front cover.
Check the side of the front cover to make sure that the air filters are assembled correctly.
