Control Panel Features

  1. POWER Button

    • Press the POWER button to turn on or off the appliance.

    • The appliance automatically turns off once a certain time has passed after the wash has completed.

  2. Programme Button

    • Programmes are available according to the laundry type.

    • The lamp will light up to indicate the selected programme.

  3. Extra Options and Functions

    • To use an extra option and function, press the button.

    • To use an extra option and function with asterisk, press and hold the button for 3 seconds.

    Remote Start

    With the LG ThinQ app, you can use a smartphone to control your appliance remotely.

    • In order to use this function, refer to SMART FUNCTIONS.

    Wi-Fi

    Press and hold the Water button for 3 seconds to initiate the connection of the appliance to the LG ThinQ application.

  4. START/PAUSE Button

    • Press this button to start or pause the washing progarmme.

    Note

    • If the START/PAUSE button is not pressed within a certain time, the appliance will shut off and all settings will be lost.

    • For customer safety, the door will be locked automatically during operation. If there is additional laundry to put in, press START/PAUSE to unlock.

    • If there is a power blackout during operation, the washing machine door will not open. After the electricity supply is on, press the POWER and START/PAUSE buttons to open the door.

  5. Cycle Status Indicator

    • The indicators tell you which stage is running and remains during the programme.

      • u: Soaking stage

      • k: Washsing stage

      • l: Rinsing stage

      • p: Spinning stage

      Note

      • The cycle status indicator blinks during that process, and then the indicator turns off when that process has completed.

  6. Display

    • The display shows the settings, remaining estimated time, options, and status messages. When the appliance is turned on, the default settings in the display will light up.

    • 18:88 : When a programme is selected, the default time for that programme is displayed. The time can change as options are selected.

      • If the display shows -:--, then the time will be displayed after the load sensing has detected the laundry size.

      • The time shown is only an estimate. Several external factors (laundry size, room temperature, incoming water temperature, etc.) can affect the actual time.

Icons on the Display

This icon lights up when the Strong Wave option is activated.

This icon lights up when the Scent + option is activated. (for Steam Models Only)

This icon lights up when the programme starts and the door is locked.

This icon lights up when the Tub Clean option is activated.

This icon lights up when the appliance is connected to Wi-Fi network at home.

This icon lights up when the remote control feature is activated.

g

This icon lights up when the Temp. option in Hot is activated.

h

This icon lights up when the Temp. option in Cold is activated.
