Sabbath Mode

Sabbath mode is typically used on the Jewish Sabbath. When the Sabbath mode is activated, the oven does not turn off until the Sabbath mode is deactivated. In Sabbath mode, all oven function buttons are inactive. sb will appear in the display.

The Sabbath mode normally allows the customer only to keep the food warm because it is forbidden to work on Sabbath and also to prepare meals.

In Sabbath mode, the oven temperature can be set from 30 °C to 250 °C.

When Sabbath mode is enabled, the appliance can be used without having to be powered on or turned off, which is prohibited during the setting time.

While the oven is in Sabbath mode, the following functions are disabled:

Temperature Adjustments, Cooking Time, Display, Oven Light On/Off, Alarm Functions and Wi-Fi.

Setting Sabbath Mode

  1. Turn and push the oven mode knob to select Bottom Heat.

  2. Set the desired temperature.

  3. Push the oven mode knob.

  4. Set a cook time, if desired.

  5. Press and hold Settings button for 3 seconds. sb appears in the display when the Sabbath mode is activated.

  • If no cooking duration time is set, the oven will not automatically turn off.

  • After a power failure, the display will turn back on in Sabbath mode, but the oven will be off.
