Using Condenser Care Feature

The appliance automatically cleans built-up lint off of the condenser using water condensed from the drying process. If needed, the condenser can also be cleaned manually.

• Pull out the water container and empty it.

• Pour 34 oz. (1 liter) of clean water slowly into the opening of the water container compartment. Then slide the empty water container back into the compartment.

  • Do not pour the water quickly as it will spill out.

  • Pouring more that 51 oz. (1.5 liters) of water into the compartment will cause water to leak out.

  

• Turn on the appliance.

• Press the Condenser Care button.

  

• Press the Start/Pause button to start cleaning the condenser.

  • The condenser cleaning process takes about 1 hour.

• Empty the water container after the cleaning is finished.

  Note

  • If the optional drain hose is installed, there is no need to empty the water container.

• Open the dryer door and leave it open to allow air to circulate and thoroughly dry the drum.

  • For safety reasons, do not allow children or animals to climb into the appliance. Doing so could cause damage or injury.
