Using the Freezer Ice Basket
This feature is only available on some models.
The ice basket stores ice from the freezer icemaker.
Caution
The freezer ice basket must be placed in the correct orientation. Failure to do so can damage the ice basket and icemaker.
Remove the ice basket to create more space inside the freezer if you do not use it.
The pad attached to the bottom of the ice bin is designed to reduce the sound of the ice dropping. Do not remove the pad.
