Detergent usage should be determined according to the instructions of the detergent manufacturer.
Refer to the label of the clothes, before adding the detergent and choosing the water temperature.
The quantity may need to be adjusted for water temperature, water hardness, size and soiling level of the load.
Using too little detergent leads to poor washing performance. Use the proper amount recommended on the detergent manufacturer for the leveling of soiling and the hardness of the water.
The use of excessive detergent may cause oversudsing. If oversudsing occurs, the washing performance will be reduced and it also causes a heavy load on the motor. In this case, reduce the detergent amount.
If water hardness is an issue in your area, after adding the detergent, add sufficient water softener to reduce the hardness to a normal level. Add water softener according to the instructions of the manufacturer.
A water softener, such as anti-limescale can be used to cut down on the use of detergent in areas with high water hardness level.
