Inside the Fridge: Controller for Fridge Compartment

Turn the dial to select a desired temperature between Cold and Coldest. For colder temperatures, adjust the control knob to Coldest, and for warmer temperatures, adjust the control knob to Cold.

• Smart Mode

  This function automatically adjusts the fridge temperature to an optimal level according to seasonal changes.

  • Turn the knob to Smart to activate this function.

• Express Mode

  This function can quickly freeze a large amount of ice or frozen foods in the freezer compartment.

  • Turn the knob to Express to activate this function.

  • This function automatically terminates after 21 hours have passed.

  Note

  • After the Express function shuts off, the controller still points to the Express, but the temperature setting is automatically changed to the mid-level temperature setting.

• For optimal food preservation, increasing or decreasing one level from the default temperature is recommended.

Inside the Freezer: Controller for Freezer Compartment

This feature is only available on some models.

Turn the dial to select a desired temperature between Min and Max. For colder temperatures, adjust the control knob to Max, and for warmer temperatures, adjust the control knob to Min.

• Convertible Mode*1

  This function allows you to use the freezer compartment as a fridge.

  • Turn the knob to Convertible to activate this function.

  • When using this mode, adjust the temperature with the controller for fridge compartment.

• Dairy Mode*1

  This function allows you to use the freezer compartment at a temperature suitable for storing dairy products.

  • Turn the knob to Dairy to activate this function.

  • When using this mode, adjust the temperature with the controller for fridge compartment.
