Setting up the Voice Assistant

You must wake the voice assistant up before it can assist you. You can select 2 different ways to do this.

Wake Zone + Wake Word mode

This mode allows you to use either motion sensor activation or voice activation.

  • Wake Zone: Stand close enough to the front of the product and the voice assistant will wake automatically without the wake word.

  • Wake Word: Stand within 3 m of the appliance and clearly say, “Hi, LG”.

Wake Word mode

This mode allows you to use voice activation.

  • Wake Word: Stand within 3 m of the appliance and clearly say, “Hi, LG”.

OFF mode

This mode turns off the voice assistant.

Setting up the Voice Assistant on Paired Refrigerators

When two or more refrigerators with the voice assistant feature are paired, the refrigerators will respond to your voice command at the same time. To avoid this, set the voice assistant feature to ON in the control panel of the appliance for which you want to use voice controls. Set the voice assistant feature to OFF in the control panel of the appliance for which you don't want to use voice controls.
