Using Audible Diagnosis to Diagnose Issues

Follow the instructions below to use the audible diagnosis method.

  • Launch the LG ThinQ application and select the Smart Diagnosis feature in the menu. Follow the instructions for audible diagnosis provided in the LG ThinQ application.

  • Open the Door in Door and press the Lock button for 3 seconds to activate the lock function.

    • If the display has been locked for over five minutes, you must deactivate the lock and then reactivate it.

  • Press and hold the Freezer Drawer button for three seconds. When the display indicates Smart Diagnosis and number 3, release the Freezer Drawer button and close the Door in Door.

  • Open the fridge door and then hold the phone on the upper right speaker hole.

  • After the data transfer is complete, the diagnosis will be displayed in the application.

Note

  • For best results, do not move the phone while the tones are being transmitted.
