Cooling, Heating, Dehumidification, Auto, Fan Mode

Turn on the appliance to control the operating mode.

Cooling Mode

This mode supplies cool air indoors.

  • Turn the appliance on by pressing the t button.

  • Press the OPER MODE button repeatedly to select the Cooling mode.

  • Press the J or K button to set the desired temperature.

    • Each press increases or decreases the temperature by 1 7.

    • Some controllers allow you to adjust the temperature by 0.5 7.

    • You can set the temperature from 16 7 to 30 7.

Note

  • The temperature range may change depending on the model.

  • The cooling mode doesn't work if the desired temperature is higher than the room temperature.

    • In this case, lower the desired temperature.

    • For best results, set the desired temperature to about 5 7 lower than the outside temperature.

    • If the desired temperature is higher than the room temperature, the vent will only blow out air rather than cooling.

Heating Mode (On Some Models)

It supplies warm wind to the indoor.

  • Turn the appliance on by pressing the t button.

  • Press the OPER MODE button repeatedly to select the Heating mode.

  • Press the J or K button to set the desired temperature.

    • Each press increases or decreases the temperature by 1 7.

    • Some controllers allow you to adjust the temperature by 0.5 7.

    • You can set the temperature from 16 7 to 30 7.

Note

  • The heating mode doesn't work if the desired temperature is lower than the room temperature.

    • If so, please increase the desired temperature.

    • For best results, set the desired temperature to about 5 7 higher than the outside temperature.

    • If the desired temperature is lower than the room temperature, the vent will only blow out air rather than heating.

Dehumidification Mode

This function reduces moisture in the air.

  • Turn the appliance on by pressing the t button.

  • Press the OPER MODE button repeatedly to select the Dehumidification mode.

  • Press the FAN SPEED button repeatedly to adjust the fan speed.

Auto Mode

This function adjusts the airflow automatically.

Auto Operation Mode (On Some Models)

  • Turn the appliance on by pressing the t button.

  • Press the OPER MODE button repeatedly to select the Auto mode.

  • Press the J or K button to select the desired operation code if the temperature is higher or lower than the desired temperature.

    The appliance sets the desired temperature to a level lower than the current temperature.

Auto Changeover Mode (On Some Models)

  • Turn the appliance on by pressing the t button.

  • Press the OPER MODE button repeatedly to select the Auto mode.

  • Press the J or K button to set the desired temperature.

    • Each press increases or decreases the temperature by 1 7.

    • Some controllers allow you to adjust the temperature by 0.5 7.

    • You can set the temperature from 16 7 to 30 7.

Note

  • The temperature range may change depending on the model.

  • You can use the FAN SPEED button during the auto mode.

  • You can change other operation mode manually during the Auto mode.

Fan Mode

This function circulates the air without heating or cooling it.

  • Turn the appliance on by pressing the t button.

  • Press the OPER MODE button repeatedly to select the Fan mode.

  • Press the FAN SPEED button repeatedly to adjust the fan speed.

Note

  • Ventilation mode does not release cool wind but general fan.

    • The Fan mode simply circulates the air within the room without changing its temperature.
