Wash and rinse times are increased to maintain wash performance.Wash time will increase up to several minutes with this option.For best wash results, only wash small loads (less than 8 lb) with this option.This option adds a pre-wash (for about 15 - 17 minutes) for improved cleaning of heavily soiled or stained clothing.If you select Pre-wash after putting the detergent directly in the drum, the detergent may be washed away, reducing the washing performance.

This light automatically turns off when the door is closed and the cycle starts.The drum light will turn off automatically after 4 minutes.Use this function to disable the controls. This function can prevent children from changing cycles or operating this washer.The function does not lock the door.Once this function is set, all buttons are locked except the Power and Options button.When the controls are locked, the Control Lock indicator lights up and the wash cycle is shown on the display.Turning off the power will not reset this function. You must deactivate this function before you can access any other options and functions.Edit the list of wash cycles as desired.Turn the knob to select the desired cycle and press the 8 button to include or exclude cycles.If a cycle is added, a check mark is displayed by that cycle.If a cycle is deleted, the check mark is not displayed by that cycle.Press the N button to save the cycle list.The Normal and Tub Clean cycles cannot be deleted.The order of cycles in the list can be changed. Change the order of the cycles in the list using Additional Settings > Cycle Optimization on the product or Product Cycle Management in the LG ThinQ application.

When Wi-Fi is turned on, the Wi-Fi icon appears in the display.When activated, this feature organizes the cycle list and options automatically based on your usage patterns.On is the default setting.Selecting Off retains the current list order.Switches the softener reservoir to a secondary detergent reservoir for those who don't use liquid fabric softener.Before using the softener reservoir to dispense detergent, empty and clean the reservoir and run the ezDispenseTMNozzle Clean function, or the reservoir may fail to dispense properly.Use this function to adjust the default detergent / softener dispense amount in 0.1 oz (3 ml) increments, within a range of 0.3 oz (9 ml) to 4.0 oz (120 ml).The default settings are configured to dispense 1.5 oz (45 ml) of detergent and 1.0 oz (30 ml) of softener for 11 lb (5 kg) of normally soiled laundry.Use this function to periodically clean the ezDispense reservoirs or before changing the softener reservoir to a detergent reservoir.This function cleans residual detergent or softener in the hose connected to the ezDispense(when changing the type of detergent or softener).Before using the function, remove the ezDispense reservoir, clean it, fill it with water and reassemble it in the dispenser drawer.The volume of the notification sounds and button sounds can be set from quiet to very loud.Use this to help troubleshoot errors or malfunctions.See the Smart Diagnosis section for more details.Select this to delete all the stored data and initialize settings.
