When moving the appliance through a narrow opening, removing the doors is preferred.
The appearance of the handles may vary from what is shown.
These instructions are for models which ship with the handles assembled. For models shipped with the handles disassembled, follow the instructions included in the handle package.
Tools Needed
Units shipped with assembled handles:
2.38 mm (3/32 in.), 3.18 mm (1/8 in.), 6.35 mm (1/4 in.) Allen wrenches
Units shipped with disassembled handles:
2.38 mm (3/32 in.), 6.35 mm (1/4 in.) Allen wrenches
When removing or refitting the appliance handle, grasp the handle firmly to avoid dropping it.
Make sure that there is not a gap between the door and handle after assembling the handle.
Removing the Fridge Handle
Loosen the set screws a with a 2.38 mm (3/32 in.) Allen wrench and remove the handle.Loosen the mounting fasteners b that connect to the fridge door and handle using a 6.35 mm (1/4 in.) Allen wrench, and remove the mounting fasteners.
Refitting the Fridge and Drawer Handle
Refit the handle in the reverse sequence of their removal once the appliance has been passed through all access doors.
