Connecting the Hose to the Water Tap

Connecting Threaded Hose to Threaded Tap

Screw the hose connector onto the water supply tap.

Using Adapter to Connect Threaded Hoses to Unthreaded Tap
  • Loosen the 4 screws on the straight end of the adapter a.

  • If the tap is too large to fit the adapter, remove the guide plate.

    1. If the tap is large, remove the inner guide plate c and adjust the screws to leave the inside of the adapter open.

    2. If the tap is still too large, remove the outer guide plate b and adjust the screws again.

  • Push the adapter onto the end of the tap until the tap has good contact with the seal to avoid leaks. Tighten the 4 outside screws.

  • Screw the inlet hose d onto the adapter, making sure that the seal in the hose makes contact with the adapter to avoid leaks.

Using Adapter to Connect One-Touch Hoses to Unthreaded Taps
  • Unscrew the adapter ring plate e and loosen the 4 screws at the end of the adapter.

  • If the tap is too large to fit the adapter, remove the guide plate.

    1. If the tap is large, remove the inner guide plate g on the adapter and adjust the screws to leave the inside clear.

    2. If the tap is still too large, remove the outer guide plate f and adjust the screws again.

  • Push the adapter onto the end of the tap so that the rubber seal makes good contact with the tap. Tighten the 4 fixing screws and the adapter ring plate.

  • Pull the connector latch plate h down, push the inlet hose onto the hose, and release the connector latch plate. Make sure the hose locks into place on the adapter.

Note
  • After connecting the water inlet hose to the water tap, turn on the water tap to flush out foreign substances (dirt, sand, sawdust, etc.) in the water lines. Let the water drain into a bucket, and check the water temperature to make sure the hoses are connected to the correct taps.
