Booting and system start/shutdown

LG Electronics Inc. operates a technical service center to provide customers with professional help.

When the system does not boot

When you cannot turn on the power or when the screen is blank

  • Check if the battery is charged sufficiently.

  • Check if the power cord or the battery is connected properly.

  • Disconnect the AC adaptor and battery and then reconnect them.

  • Press the power button for more than 4 seconds to turn the system off and restart the system.

When Windows does not start normally

  • Refer to [Recovering the System] in LG Easy Guide to recover the system.

When the booting speed is slow

  1. Use the anti-virus software to check if your PC is infected with a virus.

  2. Select the Start button [] > [All apps] > [Windows Tools] > [Defragment and Optimize Drives] > [Optimize] and optimize the drive.

  3. If the booting speed does not improve, refer to [Recovering the System] in LG Easy Guide to recover the system.
