Cleaning the Water Inlet Filter
The water inlet filter collects lime or any sediment that may be in water that is supplied to the appliance. Clean the inlet filter every six months or more often if the water is very hard or contains traces of limescale.
Turn off the water supply taps to the appliance if the appliance is to be left for a certain period of time (e.g. holiday), especially if there is no floor drain (gully) in the immediate vicinity.
1E error message will be displayed on the control panel when the water is not entering the detergent drawer.
Turn off the power and the water tap and then unscrew the water inlet hose.
Remove the water inlet filter with small pliers and then clean the filter using a medium bristle tooth brush.
