Control Panel Features for the Dryer

Power ButtonPress the button to turn the appliance on. Press again to turn the appliance off.Pressing the Power button during a cycle will cancel that cycle and any load settings will be lost.CyclesPress a button to select the desired cycle. Once the desired cycle has been selected, the standard presets will be shown in the display.Start/Pause ButtonPress and hold this button to start the selected cycle. If the appliance is running, use this button to pause the cycle without losing the current settings.If you do not press the Start/Pause button to resume a cycle within a certain time, the appliance turns off automatically and all cycle settings are lost.Cycle Modifier ButtonsPress these buttons to select additional cycle options. Press and hold any button marked with an asterisk for 3 seconds to activate a special function.Extra Options and FunctionsUse these buttons to select the desired options for the selected cycle. Not all options are available for each cycle.Remote StartWith the LG ThinQ app, you can use a smartphone to control your appliance remotely.Wi-FiPress and hold the Dry Mode button for 3 seconds to initiate the connection of the appliance to the LG ThinQ application.Wi-Fi IndicatorThis indicator is lit when the product is connected to a home Wi-Fi network.Remote Start IndicatorThis indicator lights up when the Remote Start feature is activated.Door Lock IndicatorThis indicator lights up when the cycle starts and the door is locked.The indicator light stays on until the cycle is paused, stopped or has finished.Signal IndicatorThis indicator lights up when the end-of-cycle and button tones are turned on.Estimated Time RemainingWhen a drying cycle is selected, the estimated drying time for the selected cycle is displayed. This time will change if you select extra options for the cycle.The cycle time on Sensor Dry cycles may fluctuate as the appliance recalculates drying time for optimal results.Condenser Clean IndicatorThis icon indicates the condenser auto cleaning status. The icon is displayed when water is being sprayed on the condenser.Lint Filter Status IndicatorK lights up when the appliance is turned on as a reminder to clean the lint filter. It turns off when the Start/Pause button is pressed. It also lights up if the lint filter needs to be cleaned.On models with a 3-piece lint filter, remember to check, clean and reinstall both the inner and outer parts of the filter.Cycle Status Indicators@ lights up when the appliance is in the drying stage.= lights up when the appliance is in the cool down stage.
