Using Software

Switchable Graphics

In models that support the NVIDIA® Optimus® function, you can save the battery by automatically switching between the external graphic card and the internal built-in graphic card through the NVIDIA® Optimus™ function.

When you work on a simple document or surf the Internet, the built-in graphic card is used to save the battery. When you play a PC game or run a DirectX-based program, the high performance external graphic card is used to provide better graphics.

NVIDIA® Optimus™ may not be supported in some models.

NVIDIA® Optimus™ only supports Windows® 7.
