Using LG Easy Starter

LG Easy Starter provides classic functions, like the Start menu of previous Windows, in Desktop Mode to allow you to easily use the desktop.

Tip:

Windows 8 Style apps do not appear in LG Easy Starter.

Installing LG Easy Starter

  1. Click the [] tile on the Start screen, or the [ icon in Desktop mode to run LG Update Center.

  2. Click the [All Lists] menu to access the update and install lists.

  3. Select LG Easy Starter and click [Install] to install.

  4. When the installation is completed, LG Easy Starter [] tile and icon are created on the Start screen and Desktop.

Running LG Easy Starter

  1. Click the [] tile on the Start screen, or the [] icon in Desktop Mode to run [LG Easy Starter].

  2. LG Easy Starter runs as follows:

    1. All Programs: A list of desktop programs installed in the system is displayed.

    2. Recently Used Programs: A list of recently used desktop programs is displayed.

    3. Frequently Used Programs: Register and use frequently used desktop programs.

    4. LG Software: Possible to run software provided by LG Electronics Inc.

    5. Shortcut: Shortcuts to Computer, Control Panel, Devices and Printers, and Library menus.

    6. Minimization: Minimizes LG Easy Starter window.

    7. Closing: Closes LG Easy Starter.

    8. info: Displays information about LG Easy Starter.

    9. Search: Goes to the Search Menu.

    10. Power: Provides Power Options menu.
