Reading disc data from the Blu-ray/DVD drive is a LG NAS storage function.

• Disc Data Copy
• Storage of disc data using the LG NAS is a data disc copy function.
• ① Insert the data disc in to the Blu-ray/DVD Drive and press the ‘Next’ button. If the disc is completely recognized, it will appear as ‘Data Disc’ on the ‘Media Type’ cell.
• i) If the disc loading function has not finished, a ‘Blu-ray/DVD Drive is busy. Try again later.’ Message will appear. Try again after a short while.
• ii) If there is no disc in the Blu-ray/DVD drive, or if an incompatible disc is used, a ‘Please insert a data disc into Blu-ray/DVD drive’ message will appear.
• ② Set the destination folder to save date
• ③ Click on the ‘Copy’ button to start copying.

• Disc Image Backup
• The disc information from the Blu-ray/DVD Drive is stored on the LG NAS as an image file (*.iso, *.cue, *.bin). For Data Discs, files with extension iso are created, and for Audio and Video CDs, files with extensions cue and bin respectively are created. For copy-protected discs, image saving is not possible.
• ① Place the disc in the Blu-ray/DVD Drive, and click the ‘Next’ button.
• A “Blu-ray/DVD Drive is busy. Try again later” message appears to indicate that loading is not yet completed. Try again after a short while.
• ② Set the destination folder to save date
• ③ Click on the ‘Backup’ button to start the task. At start up, a progress bar will appear.
