The network printer can be used by connecting the USB printer to the LG NAS.

• ① Select Service > Network Printer from the administrator’s web menu.
• ② Check “Enable”, click the “Apply” button.
• 1) Windows users
• ① In the web menu go to “Enable” to connect the network printer, after which an LG NAS printer icon appears.
• ② Doubling clicking on the icon shows the progress of the printer driver installation. For installation issues refer to the printer manual.
• ③ If installation is unsuccessful use the network printer service.
• 2) Mac users
• ①Click on Go/ Utilities in the tool menu.
• ②Click on the Printer Setup Utility.
• ③ Click on Add.
• ④ Hold the alt key down while clicking on More Printers.
• ⑤ In the pop up window
• i) :Select Advanced.*
• ii) Select Windows Printer via SAMBA.
• iii) Input the printer URI. The form name is 『smb: /LG NAS IP address/printer name』. The printer name can be found in the Device Configuration(device config)/ USB Printer page.
• iv) In Printer Model, select Generic.
• v) Click Add.
• By pressing the alt key while clicking on More Printers, a range of printers can be seen. There are no other options.
• vi) The printer appears in the printer list. Now the printer is ready for use.
• Linux users must consult the OS manual, or inquire at the printer company.
