The wizard menu assists in the network set up of items such as the host name, IP address, date and time, which comprise basic network information..

• ① Click on the upper “System Setting” icon in the administrator login state.
• ② Click the “Basic Setting” button.
• ③ In the “NAS Name” box, input the user LG NAS name, and in the “NAS Description” box, input the LG NAS information.
• ④ Clicking the “Next” button will bring the user to the IP set up step.
• ⑤ When the required IP is already known, click on the ‘Manual IP Setting’, and input network information including IP address, Subnet mask and DNS. If the network supports DHCP, choose ‘Obtain an IP address automatically (DHCP)’.
• If network information, IP address or Subnet mask or DNS address are unknown, contact the ISP or network administrator. For router use, refer to the router manual.
• ⑥ Set the standard clock and system clock according to location.
• The ‘Use Local Time’ button can be used to import the current time from the system. Date and time can be inputted manually.
• To indicate accurate time for files in the shared folder and log files, it is encouraged to set current time with accuracy.
• ⑦ When all the inputting is finished, click the ‘Confirm’ button. Now, the LG NAS is set up for use. For work on detail options and sharing management or mobile synchronization with a Blu-ray/DVD drive, proceed to the next menu.
