Hello, this is LG Electronics DS Division.

Updated System Firmware(Version 2572.572)of N4B1(Network Storage Product) is newly registed.

¡Ø Caution

1. While upgrading firmware, Stop other works on PC and Be careful for PC Power-off.
2. Give a warning to client user so as not to access LG NAS while firmware upgrading           
3. Upgrade on PC which is installed Firewall or other Security program would be failed.

¢º Firmware Version (System) : 2572.572

¢º Firmware name : firmware-ns2_2572.572rfk.BIN

¢º How to upgrade :

1. If the current version is 2572.572, it is not necessary to upgrade Firmware.
   Checking System & Blu-Ray Firmware is available on LG-NAS WebMenu --> System --> Firmware

2. Download firmware-ns2_2572.572rfk.ZIP from Homepage and then unzip the zip file.
   (designate the folder to download)

3. Click "Search" Button on "System" Category on LG-NAS WebMenu --> System --> Firmware.
   Find the downloaded firmware.
   And then, click "Upgrade" button.

4. After upgrading, System will restarts automatically.

¡Ø The improvement contents sees readme.txt file. 



¢º Details for New Firmware  :

1. NTFS3G (paragon driver) support

2. AjaXplorer Repository Copy support 
   -> AjaXplorer supports to copy between volumes

3. Auto F/W Update
   -> Once a month, NAS connects to NAS homepage and if there is a new firmware, 
       NAS download the new firmware automatically.
       And then when ¡®admin¡¯ login in the NAS web, NAS gives a notice to ¡®admin¡¯ in the 
       pop-up window to update to the new firmware.

4. Time-Machine improvement
    Improved the below issue:
    After users create the new Time Machine Backup Folder, if users try to use, 
    Time Machine Backup doesn¡¯t work.

5. Mac OS 9 is now supported.
   Fixed the broken Korean language characters issue when creating folders on Mac OS 9
 
6. Fixed the booting delay issue when DDNS is activated.

7. Fixed the issue regarding Automatic Hard Disk partitioning. The NAS will no longer create
   partitions automatically on a new inserted Hard Disk.
