Removing the Freezer Door

• Remove the screw from the hinge cover at the top of the appliance. Lift the hook, located at the bottom of the front side of the cover, with a flat-head screwdriver.

  

• Disconnect all wire harnesses a. Unscrew the ground wire b.

  

• Rotate the hinge lever e counterclockwise. Lift the top hinge d free of the hinge lever latch c .

  

  Caution

  • When lifting the hinge free of the latch, be careful that the door does not fall forward. It is recommended that two or more people carry out the door removal and refitting.

• Lift the freezer door until it is free of the bottom hinge assembly.

  

  Caution

  • Place the door on a non-scratching surface with the inner side facing up.
