To prevent the possibility of odors coming from the heat vent, remove food residue caught in the gap below the cover periodically (every 4 months).
To prevent injury during cleaning, wear gloves and/or protective clothing.
Wait for the blower to cool sufficiently before cleaning. If you touch it while it is hot, you may get injured.
When cleaning the heat dry blower, do not allow water, detergents, or other foreign substances inside the tube. Doing so may cause the product to malfunction.
To avoid electric shock, do not put your hand inside the heat dry blower tube.
Never disassemble the nut at the base of the blower tube. Doing so may cause leakage.
If the cover is not properly assembled, water leakage, electric shock, fire or product malfunction may occur.
Remove the lower rack. Locate the heat dry blower cover in the back left corner at the bottom of the tub.
There is a tab at the base of the cover. Insert a flat-head screwdriver between the tab and the cover and gently push it away from the cover. (Be careful not to break the tab or scratch the tub.)
While the tab is pulled out, turn the cover clockwise to about 2 o’clock. Lift the cover up to remove it.

Remove any debris with a brush, if needed. The cover can be cleaned under running water. Allow it to dry before reassembling it to prevent water from entering the blower tube.
Do not allow water, detergents, or other foreign substances inside the tube. Doing so may cause the product to malfunction.

To reassemble the vent cover, place it over the supply tube in the same orientation as it was removed (about 2 o’clock). Turn the cover counterclockwise until it clicks into place.
Do not use the dishwasher without the cover in place. If the cover is not properly assembled, water leakage, electric shock, fire or product malfunction may occur.
