Removing the Protective Vinyl from the Filter

Unpack the appliance and remove all packing tape and filter vinyl before using the appliance.

• Take the product out of the box, and remove the vinyl or the fixing tape attached to the product.

• Hold the top end of the front cover of the product with the LG logo and pull it slightly to achieve separation.

  

• Remove the filter and detach the vinyl.

  • When removing the packaged filter, separate it from the protective vinyl.

  

• Install the filter into the product.

  • Make sure that the side with the filter handle(a) is facing upward.

  

• To install the cover again, insert the fixing part at the bottom of the cover into the fixed groove at the bottom of the product and then close it.
