Replacing Handle
Only available on applicable models.
The handle is an accessory part and can be purchased separately.
Screws for disassembly and assembly are located on the underside of the handle.
To remove the handle, loosen the screws using a hex wrench. (H3/32” (H2.4 mm))
CautionThe screws are tilted about 15 degrees from the plane of the door. Take care not to scratch the surface of the door when disassembling and assembling the handle.
Fit the new handle over the mounting fasteners as shown and tighten the set screws to secure it in place.
Tighten the screw with a torque of 17-35 lbf*in (20-40 kgf*cm).
When assembling or disassembling the handle, grasp the handle firmly to avoid dropping it.
Make sure that the set screws are in place and the handle footprints at the ends of the handle are aligned correctly over the mounting fasteners on the door. The set screws should be loose enough to allow the handle footprints to slide down into place over the mounting fasteners on the door.
Make sure that there is not a gap between the door and handle after assembling the handle.
