Is there moisture accumulation under the countertop?

  • During the automatic door opening function, high temperature steam will be emitted from the tub and will condense on the surfaces directly above the washer.

  • Condensation that has formed under the countertop naturally evaporates and disappears after a certain period of time.

  • However, if the countertop is made of wood or MDF, then aluminum tape must be attached to its underside at the location of the dishwasher to prevent the wood from swelling and long term damage such as rot.
