Connecting Speakers

For detailed information on how to connect and use speakers, refer to the user’s manual supplied by the respective speaker manufacturer.

Tip:

The sound port icons below may differ depending on the model.
The figures displayed herein may differ from the actual model in shape and color.

Sound Port

MIC(Microphone Input): This is a port for connecting a microphone.

AUD OUT(Audio Output): This is a port for connecting speakers (2-channel or 2.1-channel).

AUD IN(External Audio Input): This is an input port for external audio signals.

Connect the speaker jack to the AUD OUT port at the rear of the main body.

Tip:
This product does not have an integrated speaker. Purchase speakers separately and connect them to the product.
Turn on the speakers and check if they play the sound properly.

You have to configure the audio playback device appropriately according to the connected speakers to play the sound normally.

Tip:

If the speakers play the sound normally, you don’t have to go through this step.
To play the sound from a speaker-mounted device (such as a monitor and TV), select the respective device from the Play option.

Select the Start button [] > [All Apps] > [Windows Tools] > [Control Panel] > [Sound].
Select [Playback] > [Speakers] and right-click, then select [Set as Default Device].

Tip:

When you use 5.1-channel speakers or higher, you cannot connect a microphone to the rear of the PC.

4 channel speaker

AUD OUT: Connect the left and right speaker jacks at the front.

AUD IN: Connect the left and right speaker jacks at the rear.
5.1/6 channel speaker

AUD OUT: Connect the left and right speaker jacks at the front.

AUD IN: Connect the left and right speaker jacks at the rear.

MIC: Connect the speaker/subwoofer jacks at the center.

Tip:

Setting the Audio Channel

Change the audio channel settings according to the speaker channels connected to the PC.

Select the Start button [] > [All Apps] > [Windows Tools] > [Control Panel].
Select [Sound].
Select [Playback] > [Speakers] and right-click, then select [Configure Speakers].
Select a speak channel and proceed with setting as guided.
