Connecting a USB Device

You can connect a device such as a camera, smartphone, and printer to the USB-A port of the PC.

Tip:

  • The names of USB versions have changed from USB 3.0 (or USB 3.1 Gen 1) and USB 3.1 (or USB 3.1 Gen 2) to USB 3.2 Gen 1x1 and USB 3.2 Gen 2x1.

  • LG Electronics does not provide the USB connection cable to connect the USB device.

  • For detailed information on how to connect a USB device, refer to the user's manual supplied by the respective manufacturer.

Connecting a Device

Tip:

  • For some external USB devices such as a smartphone and camera, you have to connect the external USB device and choose a menu such as [External Disk], [Disk Drive], and [Mount SD Card] for the device before using it.

  1. Turn on the power of the USB device after booting the PC.

  2. Use a USB cable to connect the USB device to the PC.

  3. When the [Auto run] window appears, press the [Open folder to view file] button.
