Deleting/Changing the Boot Password

You can delete or change the password only after entering the current password.

The model in the example can differ from actual models and is subject to change for performance improvements, without prior notice.

Changing the Boot Password

  1. After opening the system setup screen, use the arrow keys to move to [Security].

  2. When the Security item appears, select the password you want to change using arrow keys and press the [Enter] key.

  3. Type the current password and press the [Enter] key.

  4. Change the password in the same way as setting one.

Deleting the Boot Password

  1. After opening the system setup screen, use the arrow keys to move to [Security].

  2. When the Security item appears, select the password you want to change using arrow keys and press the [Enter] key.

  3. Type the current password and press the [Enter] key.

  4. When the Create New Password screen appears, press the [Enter] key.

  5. When the WARNING screen appears, press the [Yes] button.
