Removing the Refrigerator Door

• Remove the top hinge cover screws a. Lift the hook (not visible), located at the bottom of the cover b with a flat-head screwdriver.

  

• Type A

  • Rotate the hinge lever c clockwise. Lift the top hinge d free of the hinge lever latch e.

  

  Type B

  • Remove the three bolts using a 13/32 in. (10 mm) socket wrench and lift off the top hinge. Set parts aside.

  

  Caution

  • When lifting the hinge, be careful that the door does not fall forward.

• Lift the door from the middle hinge pin and remove the door.

  

  Caution

  • Place the door, inside facing up, on a non-scratching surface.
