Using the Appliance Remotely

Inicio Remoto (Remote Start)

Use a smartphone to control your appliance remotely. You can also monitor your cycle operation so you know how much time is left in the cycle.

Using this function

  • Put the clothes into the drum. If using the manual dispenser, add detergent to the detergent dispenser drawer. If using ezDispense, make sure that there is sufficient detergent and softener in the compartments.

    • If desired, add bleach to the appropriate section of the manual dispenser.

  • Press the Power button.

  • Press the Ajustes (Options) button, turn the knob to select Inicio Remoto (Remote Start) and press the 8(OK) button.

  • Turn the knob to select Encendido (On) and press the 8(OK) button to enable the remote control function.

  • Start a cycle from the LG ThinQ application on your smartphone.

Note

  • Once this function is enabled, you can only start a cycle from the LG ThinQ smartphone application. If the cycle is not started, the appliance will wait to start the cycle until it is turned off remotely from the application or this function is disabled.

  • If the door has been opened, you can not start a cycle remotely.

Disable this function manually

When this function is activated, press the Ajustes (Options) button, turn the knob to select Inicio Remoto (Remote Start) and press the 8(OK) button. Turn the knob to select Apagado (Off) and press the 8(OK) button.
