Error Messages

Puerta abierta (Door open)

Cause

The door is opened.

Solution
  • Open and close the door again. If the message keeps appearing, unplug the power cord and call for service.

Puerta no cerrada (Door Unlocked)

Cause

The door is not secured.

Solution
  • Close and secure the door. If the message keeps appearing, unplug the power cord and call for service.

Suministro de agua (Water supply)

Cause

Water supply is not adequate in that location. Water does not enter appliance or it enters slowly.

Solution
  • Check another tap in the house.

Cause

Water supply tap is not completely open. Water does not enter the appliance or it enters slowly.

Solution
  • Open fully tap.

Cause

Water supply hose(s) are kinked.

Solution
  • Straighten hose or reinstall the water inlet hose.

Cause

The filter of the supply hose(s) are clogged.

Solution
  • Check and clean the inlet valve filter after turning off the taps and removing the hose connections to the washing machine.

Favor drenar (Drainage)

Cause

Drain hose is kinked or clogged. Water in the appliance does not drain or drains slowly.

Solution
  • Clean and straighten the drain hose.

Cause

The drain filter is clogged.

Solution
  • Check and clean the drain filter.

Favor centrifugar (Unbalance)

Cause

The appliance has a system which detects and corrects the unbalance of the appliance.

Solution
  • The clothes may be too wet at the end of the cycle, rearrange the load to allow proper spinning. Close the door and press Start/Pause button. It may take a few moments before the appliance begins to spin. The door must be locked before spin can be achieved.

Cause

Load is too small. This system may stop spinning or even interrupt the spin cycle altogether if individual heavy articles (e.g. bath mat, bath robe, etc.) are loaded.

Solution
  • Add 1 or 2 similar items or smaller articles of clothes to help balance the load. Close the door and press Start/Pause button. It may take a few moments before the appliance begins to spin. The door must be locked before spin can be achieved.

No se detecta agua (No water detected)

Cause

Water level sensor malfunctions.

Solution
  • Close the water tap. Unplug the power plug. Call for service.

Error del motor (Motor error)

Cause

Over load in motor.

Solution
  • Let the appliance wait for 30 minutes until the motor is cooled down and then, restart the cycle.

Nivel de agua muy alto (Water too high)

Cause

Water overfills due to a possible faulty water valve.

Solution
  • Close the water tap. Unplug the power plug. Call for service.

Error de congelacion (Freeze error)

Cause

Is supply/drain hose or drain pump frozen?

Solution
  • Supply warm water into the drum in order to unfreeze the drain hose and the drain pump. Cover the supply hose with wet and warm towel.

No se detecta temperatura (No temp detected)

Cause

This is a control error.

Solution
  • Unplug the power plug and call for service.

Sensor de vibracion (Vibration sensor)

Cause

Vibration sensor malfunctions.

Solution
  • Call for service.

Error de vapor (Steam error)

Cause

The steam function did not work properly.

Solution
  • Call for service.

Falla de alimentacion (Power failure)

Cause

Power failure or inadequate electrical service may have occurred during operation.

Solution
  • Press the Start/Pause button to restart the cycle.

Exceso de detergente (Oversudsing)

Cause

Too much detergent was used.

Solution
  • Do not add more than the recommended amount of detergent.

Cause

Too much sudsing detected.

Solution
  • The washer will operate the suds reduction cycle for about 2 hours.

Voltaje anormal (Voltage abnormality)

Cause

Supply voltage is not correct.

Solution
  • Unplug the power plug and call for service.
