Virtoo by LG

Virtoo by LG is software used to connect a smartphone and a PC for checking notifications from the smartphone and allowing calling, text messaging, and mirroring from the PC.

Tip:

Virtoo by LG is not installed, find and install the Virtoo by LG app from MS Store (https://www.microsoft.com/KO-KR/store/apps).

Virtoo by LG must be installed on the smartphone as well.

Virtoo by LG's smartphone app can be found and installed by searching Virtoo by LG from Google Play or App Store.

It is recommended to disconnect from the app after using on a public PC.

Virtoo by LG service may be stopped without a prior notice by the company's discretion.

The app may not work properly on some smartphone models and upgrading the operating system of a smartphone may prevent some features from working properly.

Virtoo by LG Connect

  1. Click the [] button to launch [Virtoo by LG].

  2. When the following screen appears, click the [CONNECT YOUR PHONE] button.

  3. Select [Android] or [iPhone] and then click the [Next] button.

  4. When the following screen appears, connect the smartphone and the PC according to the instructions shown on the screen.

    • Android

    • iPhone

  5. When an identical PIN Code appears on both PC and smartphone, tap the [Register] or [Pair] button on the smartphone.

  6. On the PC, click the [Next] button to finish the connection.

Displaying Notification Messages

When your smartphone receives notifications, phone calls, SMS, app notifications or email, the following messages appear on your PC.

Tip:

If notifications on the smartphone do not appear on the PC, change the smartphone settings as follows:

  • Allow the app to access notifications from [Settings] > [General] > [App and Notification] > [App Info] > [Virtoo by LG] > [Permissions].

  • The actual menu structure may differ by smartphone model. Refer to the smartphone manual for more information on menu structure.

Virtoo by LG Tour

  1. Notifications: Allows you to check smartphone notifications from the Virtoo by LG's screen.

  2. Dialer: Virtoo by LG allows you to make a phone call or receive an incoming call from the app.

  3. Messages: Allows you to send and receive text messages in a conversation format.

  4. Contacts: Allows you to browse the contacts stored in your smartphone and send text or make a phone call to the contacts.

    Select the shortcut from the address book to create a shortcut to the selected contact on the desktop. You can make a phone call to that contact by clicking the shortcut.

  5. Phone Mirroring/File Sharing: Allows you to see the screen of the connected smartphone and access it from your PC. (Only Android smartphones support this feature.)

    Tip:

    Notes on Input System

    LG smartphone: You can use the PC keyboard to type characters. Press the Korean/English key or [Shift]+[Spacebar] to switch languages, according to smartphone model.

    Samsung smartphone: Click the [] button to open input console while typing on a PC keyboard. You can type characters using the input console.

  6. Share file: You can select files on your PC and easily send them to your smartphone.

  7. Downloads: Opens the download folder of your PC.

  8. Do Not Disturb (OFF): Allows you to toggle the smartphone notifications to be displayed on your PC. By default, the feature is "Off" (Notifications are displayed).

  9. Settings: Allows you to configure the settings of Virtoo by LG.

File Sharing

The smartphone's mirroring must be enabled to use the file sharing feature.

Tip:

  • Only one file can be transferred at a time and it may take a while if the file is big.

  • Depending on the wireless environment, the mirroring screen may be interrupted or the file transfer speed may decrease.

  • Sent files are stored in the [Download] folder of your smartphone.

  • Files sent from your smartphone are stored in the [Download] folder of your PC.

Storing/Sharing Files from Your PC

  1. Drag the files to share to the mirroring screen from your PC.

  2. Click the [Copy to Phone] button to store the file(s) on your smartphone or click another app icon to share the file(s) on the app.

Storing Smartphone Files on Your PC

  1. Select file(s) on your smartphone using a file browser and then tap the [Share] menu item.

  2. Tap the [Copy to PC] button to transfer them to your PC.

Virtoo by LG Update

Some functions may not work properly if the version of an app installed on your PC or mobile device is out of date. You can update your PC and mobile device (Android or iPhone) as below:

Please initialize your app after it is updated.
