Using Condenser Care Feature
The appliance automatically cleans built-up lint off of the condenser using water condensed from the drying process. If needed, the condenser can also be cleaned manually.
Remove all of the clothes from the appliance.
The condenser is cleaned automatically.
If you want to clean it manually, contact the service center.
If the product is disassembled arbitrarily, resulting in a malfunction or injury, LG does not assume responsibility and free service is not provided.
Open the dryer door and pull out both the inner and outer filters.
Carefully pour 34 oz. (1 liter) of clean water into the lint filter compartment and then reinsert both lint filters.
Do not pour the water quickly as it will spill out.
Pouring more that 51 oz. (1.5 liters) of water into the compartment will cause water to leak out.
Turn on the appliance.
Press the Condenser Care button.
Press the Start/Pause button to start cleaning the condenser.
The condenser cleaning process takes about 1 hour.
Open the dryer door after the cleaning is finished and leave it open to allow air to circulate and thoroughly dry the drum.
