Options and Extra Functions

Your washer includes several additional cycle options to customize cycles to meet your individual needs.

  • Select the desired option after selecting the desired cycle and settings.

Note
  • The LED for the option will light when the option is selected.

  • To protect your garments, not every option is available with every cycle.

  • A chime will sound twice and the LED will not light if the selected option is not allowed for the selected cycle.

ColdWashTM

Use this option to save energy by using cooler water while increasing the wash and rinse times to maintain wash performance.Wash time will increase up to several minutes with this option.Selecting this option increases the water supplied during rinsing. The water supplied during washing is not increased.For best wash results, only wash small loads (less than 8 lb) with this option.

Extra Rinse

This option adds an extra rinse to the selected cycle. Use this option to help ensure the removal of detergent or bleach residue from fabrics.You cannot select this option with the SPIN ONLY option.

Water Plus

Use this option to add extra water to the wash cycle for better wash performance with large or bulky items.Press and hold EXTRA RINSE button for 3 seconds to activate or deactivate this option. If the washer reaches its maximum water level, this button will have no effect.You cannot select this option in the TUB CLEAN and BULKY/BEDDING cycles.

Fabric Softener

The fabric softener is dispensed in the final rinse.Press the FABRIC SOFTENER button to use this option.

Delay Wash

Once you have selected the cycle and other settings, press this button to delay the start of the wash cycle.Each press of the button increases the delay time by 1 hour, for up to 19 hours.Once the desired delay time is set, press the Start/Pause button to start the delay time.If the Start/Pause button is not pressed to begin the delay time, the washer automatically turns off after a certain time and all cycle settings are lost.

Custom Program (PGM)

CUSTOM PROGRAM allows you to store a customized wash cycle for future use. It allows you to save your favorite temperature, spin speed, soil level, and other options for a cycle, and then recall them at the touch of a button.Press the Power button to turn on the washer.Turn the cycle selector knob until the desired cycle is selected.Press the cycle modifier button to change the desired settings.Press the cycle option button to add the desired options.Press and hold the CUSTOM PROGRAM button for 3 seconds.Press the Power button to turn on the washer.Press the CUSTOM PROGRAM button.The stored settings will display.Press Start/Pause button to start the cycle.If you press any other button at this time will cancel the custom program.You may only save one custom program at a time. Pressing and holding the CUSTOM PROGRAM button will overwrite any previously saved custom program.

Signal Off-Low-High

The washer plays a melody when the wash cycle is finished. The volume of the melody is adjusted using the SIGNAL OFF-LOW-HIGH button.Press the SIGNAL OFF-LOW-HIGH button repeatedly to adjust the volume of the melody.The volume settings are low, high and off. The signal volume can be adjusted at any time as long as the washer is turned on.

Child Lock

Use this function to disable the controls. This function can prevent children from changing cycles or operating this washer.The function does not lock the door.Once this function is set, all buttons are locked except the Power button.When the controls are locked, CL and the remaining time are alternately shown on the display during the wash cycle.Turning off the power will not reset this function. You must deactivate this function before you can access any other options and functions.Turn on the power.Press and hold the SIGNAL OFF-LOW-HIGH button for 3 seconds to activate this function.Turn on the power.Press and hold the SIGNAL OFF-LOW-HIGH button for 3 seconds to deactivate this function.When this function is deactivated, a chime will sound and the remaining time for the current cycle will reappear on the display.
