Remote Start

To start the washing programme remotely in the LG ThinQ application, set the Remote Start function. You can also monitor your cycle operation so you know how much time is left in the cycle.

Using this function

• Put the clothes into the drum and add detergent into the detergent dispenser drawer.

  • If desired, add bleach or fabric softener to the appropriate areas of the dispenser.

• Press the POWER button.

• Press the Setting button, press the L(Left) or M(Right) button to select Remote Start and press the 8(OK) button.

• Press the L(Left) or M(Right) button to select On and press the 8(OK) button to enable the remote control function.

• Start a cycle from the LG ThinQ application on your smartphone.

Note

• Once this function is enabled, you can start a cycle from either the LG ThinQ smartphone application or the product. If the cycle is not started, the appliance will wait to start the cycle until it is turned off remotely from the application or this function is disabled.

• If the door has been opened, you can not start a cycle remotely.

Disable this function manually

When this function is activated, press the Setting button, press the L(Left) or M(Right) button to select Remote Start and press the 8(OK) button. Press the L(Left) or M(Right) button to select Off and press the 8(OK) button.
