LG gram Link

LG gram Link allows you to share various files (photos, videos, documents, etc.) by simply connecting the PC with the mobile device and LG webOS device and to experience expanded usability through various connections between devices.

Select the Start button [] > [All] and run [LG gram Link].

Tip:

To use LG gram Link, the devices using the app must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network and the app must be running on the devices.

The app may not work properly on some mobile devices and upgrading the operating system of a mobile device may prevent some features from working properly.

You can re-install the app in LG Update & Renew.

Registering the Mobile device and LG webOS device

Scan the QR code with the camera app of the mobile device and install the app on the mobile device.

Tip:
You can search LG gram Link on Google Play or App Store and install the mobile device app.
When the installation is complete, press [Next].
Connect the PC and device to register to the same Wi-Fi network.
Register the mobile device and LG webOS device as follows:

- Mobile Device: In the LG gram Link app of the mobile device, select [Register to your gram] and scan the QR code on the PC screen.

- LG webOS Device: In the [LG Gallery+] app of the LG webOS device, select [Generative AI] > [Recently produced images] > [Send]. Once LG Link is launched, select [Add Device] > [Generate a PinCode]. Enter the numeric code to the PC.
When the registration is complete, press [OK].

Tour

Send: Allows you to send files (photos, videos, and documents) stored in your PC to other devices.

Import: Allows you to import photos and videos from the mobile device to your PC or to other registered devices.

Connect: Allows you to experience expanded usability through various connections between devices.

Call: Checks the contacts on the mobile device, or makes a call directly on the PC.

Settings: App settings and registered mobile devices can be managed.
Device registration button: Allows you to register devices additionally.
Notifications: Allows you to check the notifications of the mobile device.
- Activate [Connect Device for Call/Notifications] in [Settings] and select the device to check notifications.

Send

In the [Send] menu, drag and drop the files (photos, videos, and documents) that you want to the area marked with dotted lines.

- You can use the Send File function faster by dragging and dropping files to the icon of a discovered device.
When you select the device icon, the files are sent.
Tip:
- If the device icon does not appear, select [More] to search again.
  
  If the device is not searched continuously, refer to the content in Reconnecting to Bluetooth.
- When you send a file to a non-registered device, you need to enter the PIN code. You only need to enter the PIN code once. Devices with past connection history do not display the PIN code input screen.

Import

In the [Import] menu, select a device to connect.
When the mobile device's album is displayed on the app, select the photos or videos you want.

- Select [Save] to save the selected files in the PC.

- Select [Deliver] to send the selected files to other registered mobile devices.

Tip:
The saved files can be found in [Settings] > [Download location].

Connect

In the [Connect] menu, select the menu for a desired function and connect to the device.

- If you select the [ Set manually ] icon, you can change a device to connect.

Function	Description
Extend/Duplicate gram Screen on a Mobile Device	You can extend/duplicate the PC screen on the mobile device.
Extend/Duplicate gram Screen on a LG webOS Device	You can extend/duplicate the PC screen on the LG webOS device.
Share the gram’s Mouse/Keyboard with Another Device	You can use the PC's keyboard and mouse on the mobile device or LG webOS device.
Mirror Mobile Device’s Screen to the gram	The screen of the mobile device appears on the PC, and you can use the mobile device on your PC. If you want to stop using the PC’s keyboard and mouse on the mirrored mobile device screen, press [Esc] key.
Use Mobile Device's Camera on the gram	The camera screen of the mobile device is displayed on the PC.
Play Mobile Device's Audio through the gram	You can play the audio of the mobile device through the PC’s speaker.

Tip:

If your keyboard or mouse does not work on the mobile device screen, refer to the content in Reconnecting to Bluetooth.

Select the menu again to disconnect the device.

Call

Activate [Connect Device for Call/Notifications] in [Settings] and select the device to connect.
Select [Call] > [Connect Bluetooth].
If a connection is established, the recent call list appears and you can make a call directly on the PC.

Importing Files on the PC on the Mobile Device

You can import files (photos, videos, and documents) on the PC on the mobile device.

Tip:

Files may be saved in different locations depending on the file format and mobile device.

(Android: Gallery, My Files / iOS: Photos, Files)

[Import Using QR Code]

In the [Send] menu on the LG gram Link PC app, drag and drop the files (photos, videos, and documents) that you want to the area marked with dotted lines. After that, select [Share via QR Code].
Scan the QR code in [Import] > [Import Using QR Code] of the LG gram Link mobile app to save files on the mobile device.

[Search and Import]

Tip:

This function is provided by linking with gram chat On-Device, so you can use it by running gram chat On-Device once.

The mobile device must be registered in the LG gram Link PC app.

Search files in [Import] > [Search and Import] menu of the LG gram Link mobile app.
Check the desired files and select [Import] to save on the mobile device.

Reconnecting to Bluetooth

When no device is discovered / When the PC's keyboard or mouse does not work on the mobile device screen:

Select the [] icon on the right side of the taskbar, right-click the [] icon, and press [Exit] to exit the app.
Select the Start button [] > [Settings] > [Bluetooth & devices], press the [] icon for the mobile device, and press [Remove device] to remove the mobile device.
In the Bluetooth settings for the mobile device, remove the connected PC.
Turn off the Bluetooth function of the PC and the mobile device, wait for 10 seconds, and turn it back on.
Run the LG gram Link app and reconnect the PC.
