Factory Reset

This function resets your PC to the factory default state at the time of purchase.

This only applies to models that support the ‘Backup/Recovery’ menu of LG Update & Renew.

Caution:

All data is lost during the initialisation so you must backup all critical data in advance.

For factory reset, the adapter must be connected to the PC.

Select the Start button [] > [All] and run [LG Update & Renew].
Check [Agree] in [Recovery] > [Factory Reset] and select [Next] to reboot your PC.
When the [LG Update & Renew] screen appears, check the language you want to use and select [Next].
Select [Recovery] > [Factory Reset] > [OK] to execute the factory reset.
When the factory reset is complete, click [OK] to reboot the PC.
